Three centre Thailand break offers Wayne and Julie a holiday of wonderful contrasts
With foreign travel now the norm for holidaymakers, many people now look to go beyond a traditional hotel and beach break.
Get Set Go customers Wayne and Julie Bennett enjoyed the great contrasts available on a 12-day break to Thailand which saw them combine a relaxing beach break with a jungle trek to Elephant Hills and Ko Yao’s luxury Tree House Villas with private beach near Phuket.
“We wanted to enjoy a relaxing beach holiday but also have an adventure, but didn’t really know how to go about it,” said Wayne. “Fortunately, I had met John through business networking and his passion for travel and knowledge of the market never fails to impress.
“He came to our house and listened. We mentioned Thailand and told him we wanted to enjoy a variety of experiences and let John suggest options.
“The customer service from John was excellent. He arranged the accommodation, the international flights and the travel within Thailand – everything ran like clockwork.”
Wayne and Julie began their Thailand adventure at Grand Centara Beach Resort, Phuket, an upmarket resort with spas and a water park.
They then travelled inland to the Elephant Hills
Luxury Tented Jungle Camp. Situated in the Khao Sok National Park in Southern Thailand. Elephant Hills offers the chance to trek through
jungle terrain, enjoy experiences such as kayaking, and to see elephants at close quarters.
“It’s an experience like no other. We were chopping fruit with machetes and elephants would take it out of our hands,” said Wayne.
Tree House Villas, Koh Yao, is a 5-star, adult only resort with a private beachfront. The accommodation consists of luxuriously equipped tree houses and villas with unspoiled views
of Phang Nga Bay.
