“John did all the preparation for us which meant we could enjoy our holiday”

“If you are going to do the Santa experience in Lapland it is something that you have to get right. It needs to be magical for your children as it is a memory they will treasure for ever.

“We have daughters aged six and seven. Sophie, the older one, has since told us that meeting Santa and Lapland is her favourite ever memory.

“I first spoke to John about Lapland about two years ago and he didn’t just sell us a holiday. He told us to wait until the girls were the right age to do it and when the time came (December 2023), John came up with a package that met our every need. We needed John’s insight and knowledge and he delivered a high quality experience.

“This was a special holiday and was much more than just meeting Santa. The whole experience was so well thought out and there a was a story running through it. The narrative theme began as soon as we boarded the coach from the airport, with “elves” on board setting the scene for a magical journey to meet Santa.

“We had taken letters from the girls for Santa and were able to give them to the organisers together with the gifts Sophie and Emily had asked for. This meant they got the presents from Santa they asked for and, as a result, they are convinced they have met the real Father Christmas!

“As John had advised, it was so important to ensure our girls were just the right age to enjoy all the experiences, as it was far more than a visit to Father Christmas. The activities were just right and we enjoyed snow mobile rides and a husky sleigh ride where my hisband Tom drove the dogs.

“Everything was so well thought through. One thing that helped us was that the holiday company provided us with snow suits. EWhen you have six and seven year old children, it’s vital to keep warm and dry and they took that worry away from us.

“We stayed in a log cabin, which gave us privacy and family time, but we ate in the neighbouring hotel. Both food and accommodation were excellent.

“John takes away the anxieties which come with booking online or through a brochure. He’s checking all the time and makes sure everything runs smoothly.”
